Me and my boyfried have been together for 4 years and we have a son but recently we've been fighting a lot and it gets me thinking of leaving him. But I want to keep my son and he's a police officer so I think that he would have a better chance of keeping our son. I don't work I am a stay at home mom and I want to know if there is anyway I can keep our son if I decided to leave him ? Please any advice will help

First, is he on the birth certificate? Generally, courts will leave custody with the mother unless the mother is unfit.

You should start by getting a job and setting up a life if you decide to leave.

iggylover- yes his name is on the birth certificate. I am a fit mother I just don't work because I don't have to and we were thinking of getting married.
