The cable company required me to add a cable box. My TV and my DVDR worked well prior to the installation. Now I find that after about 5 minutes of operation the sides collapse inward and the picture is distorted (elongated). The cable company checked out the equipment on site and determined that it is not caused by their equipment but appears to be a failure of my TV. Is there a way to verify the validity of their diagnosis?
