I was at a friends and a girl I know has herpes (she was raped) so I'm pretty sure she only has genital herpes.. But can that still be spread by mouth? She took a puff off my cigarette and I was kind of hesitant although the people around me shared drinks with her too (they know her better and already know of her condition more ) she also used a toilet I used and touched my hand once during the day. Now I know I may be being paranoid but now I'm freaked out I could have herpes and not know because there's not a lot of signs.

Its possible... and it might take a long time to have symptoms... and some people might be a contagious carrier and never have them.

I can't guess what the odds are. But its not a sure thing. Nor is it impossible. Too many unknown variables... like is she on supression medication... was she recently having a breakout? Exactly how her hygine habits are...

For safety why not go and see the doctor
