Twist and pull shower drain removal?
I have watched countless Youtube videos and read as many question threads with no avail. I can't get my twist and pull shower drain to come out. I have tried to unscrew the top piece but I think it's set. I located a small screw under the wide base and unscrewed that (it fell down the drain, but I'll deal with that later) but the top still won't come up. I don't have a clog to deal with, but the stopper has unscrewed enough to not stay up on it's own turning a shower into a bath quickly. I have stuck my fingers down the drain and held one piece while turning the other but still no luck. I would get a saw and start from scratch if I could afford a new tub. Please help! Thank you.

We're not talking about a walk in shower drain are we? This stopper's on your tub isn't it? I'm going to put a assortment of stoppers. Tell me which stopper is yours. Back to you, Tom

How would you remove the #4 / #6 type drain you have listed if you wouldn't mind answering? Thanks!
