Hello I have a mated pair of IRN's that I have just rescued. I am quite familiar with this breed of bird and have two others besides. My question is this, the male has pulled out all of the females feathers around her neck and all of her tail feathers, I feel to separate them until her feathers grow back, but I will still want them to breed again after that, will he pull her feathers out again? They have had young before so the previous owners say, but they did'nt even know what a nest box was, so what should I do here? I planned on putting them in separate cages but close together so they can still see each other and talk to each other. Thank You
