When I bend my ankle forward or from side to side it hurts, also when I walk my foot hurts, there is NO previous injuries to the foot... I wanted to know why does my ankle keep hurting when I bend it forward...

U MAY (I said may) have torn your ligaments. I have the same problem with mine!

My ankles were swollen, could barely walk and I went to a Dr. he took x-rays and saw nothing. He then put a ankle brace on it and a week later the swelling was gone and was able to walk OK again

Answer is still. No idea see a doctor. Too broad of a spectrum of possible problems that could cause this.
