I came to US in Oct 2011. My Husband came to US in Feb 2012. He got his SSN in May 2012.
Can I file show my Husband as dependent for 2011 Tax filing? He is not in US for 2011.

You can file jointly irrespective of where he is located. You do have to declare his Indian income, but then you exclude it using Form 2555.
