Submersable pump - no water after sprinkler run
Hello - I have a submersable, I was running the sprinkler (single unit) in the garden, went out to turn it off, and realized it was off. Tank in basement said 0, breaker and contacts on switch on (new tank & switch last feb)
I turned the breaker off for a few minutes, went and re-looked at switch, went back and turned the breaker on, walked back to tank, showed the normal 50-60 reading.
Still doing OK, but noted water was clear type cloudy (not dirty) - Am I losing the pump? (its hitting 10 year mark I think)

    Thanks

How long was the sprinkler running? How big is the tank?

At least an hour - tank not connected to outside. Outside water has a 'no-freeze' in ground spigot about 15 ft from pump. Then line continues to house, about 80 more ft or so

How big is tank, how long was breaker off? Do you have a pump safety switch the turns pump off if well is pumped dry.

Not likely to be pump, sounds like you pumped your well dry. Also sounds like it recovered rather quickly.
