I take the pill (microgynon) at 8pm every night but I have my prom this Friday and it starts at 7pm so could I take the pill an hour early for just Friday but then go back to taking it at 8pm? I just feel ill be having a good time and forget or loose it as my dress has no pockets and I have no bag.

An hour more or less shouldn't affect it.

However you are aware no birth contriol method is 100% effective... even when used correctly. Many women get pregnant while on bith control pills every year... quite a few of them are members of this site.

I understand but will my chances of getting pregnant go back to normal after the Friday?

They will be exactly the same... an hour more or less won't change the effectiveness of the pill you are on. It would take a LOT more time than that.
