Please, can somebody help me with this pregnancy question
My last menstrual was 71 days ago, me and my boyfriend had safe sex. I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. I've done a little internet research and it shows that pregnancy test are more reliable when displaying a positive, in the other hand, when it comes out a negative its only 50% reliable. I really have no idea what to go with right now, could I be pregnant?

Go in and see a doctor to verify what the issue could be, if you're not pregnant maybe you have some irregularity issues that need to be addressed. A few years prior to me becoming pregnant with my son I was very irregular, I'd be lucky to get my period once every six months. My doctor ended up giving me some medication that jump started my cycle and then put me on the pill to help regulate me. There are multiple reasons you may have not gotten your period, hormone imbalances, irregular menstrual cycle, pregnancy, etc. But I would definitely go in and get seen. If you don't have medical insurance, look for a clinic within your area that will see you, some will even work with your financial situation and give you fee wavers if you can't afford it. It's best to find out sooner rather than later if you're pregnant so that you can discuss possible options. You are no longer able to get an abortion in the United States past 24 weeks (though I do believe there are a select few doctors nation wide who perform late term abortions), so if you are pregnant and you're past that point your only real options are at this point keeping the child or adoption. Best of luck to you! Hopefully its just some irregularities or hormonal imbalances!

I'm just 16.. my "boyfriend" is going to turn 20. This was not a planned issue. We have had intercourse before and never has my menstrual hold back for too long. I have one more question, can all this stress and worriness really lead me to actually becoming pregnant?

    No sex caused pregnancy,

And sorry what does being 16 have to do with it, there is no birth control that is 100 percent, if your protection was condoms, they have from a 3 to 10 percent failure rate, so of course you could be pregnant

When are you doing the pregnancy test It needs to be first thing in the morning with the first urine of the morning.

But if you are having sex, you are acting old enough to have children be pregnant. Have you discussed this with the boyfriend and is he ready to step up and pay for the child if you are ?

But if you need to go to the doctor, you go, that is part of being responsible if you think you are old enough to have sex

I was just being informative, because many have asked me if this has happen during my first pregnancy. My "boyfriend" says he will be responsible, but he has suggested abortion and adoption at this point, because of all my worriness. Is it really that I might be pregnant, or could it be something else...
