I am debating whether to get my cartilage pierced tomorrow. This is why I am in this debate
1. Does it hurt?
2. Is there a good chance I won't get an infection or cyst?
3. Does a piercing gun hurt very badly?

It won't hurt so much the minute you get it pierced but after a few minutes that area will get really hot and obviously hurt if you touch it, it will be really sore for at least 3-5 weeks, or at least mine was. It will never actually completely heal, till this day its still a bit sore and its been 2 years. & mine never got infected, but of course that all depends on the person and if you care for it correctly. & Idk about the piercing gun cause when I got it I went to a tattoo shop and they did it with a needle lol I was planning on going to claires to do it with the gun but I heard that wasn't a good idea cause apparently the gun can "shatter" your cartilage and the best way was to go to a tattoo shop so I didn't want to take chances.
