It's possible that it's too early to test, or you're not using the test correctly, or the test is expired.

There are so many reasons a home urine test can give a false negative. So yes, it's possible that you're pregnant.

My suggestion would be to see a doctor for a more accurate blood test.

I wish you all the best, and hope it turns out the way you want it to.

At 30 days late, it shouldn't be too early to test. But, it could very well be that you took the test incorrectly.

Did you use first morning urine?

What sort of test did you use?

Did you follow the directions exactly?

Is it 30 days from when you should have had your last period, So many people come on here with different ideas of what is "late"

As noted the first urine of the morning is most important.

But if you are 30 days late, are you now due for your next period, have you missed it yet?

It's possible. At this time I would see a doctor for a blood test.

If you are pregnant it should show up on the first day of your missed period and with early detection pregnancy tests some times up to 6 days before your missed period.

Actually, that info is not at all accurate. The majority of women will not get an accurate result until 2 or more weeks after their missed period. There are a few that will get an accurate result a few days or a week after a missed period, but they aren't the norm.

This is what my dr. told me n told me the first day of your missed period they are 99% accurate... but there is always exceptions to rules... like if you have low hcg counts than the normal women then you will not get a positive right away... with all 4 of my children I have tested within a week before my period was missd and got positive results... so like I said there are always exceptions to the rules.

I agree, there are always exceptions, but you have to realize that you're not the norm, you are the exception.

Stating your experiences as fact isn't fair to the OP (original poster), who may very well fall into the category that the majority of women do, which means that she likely won't get an accurate result only a few days after her period is due.

Pregnancy tests are only as accurate as the people that are using them. There is a huge margin for error.

That's why I would recommend a blood test for the OP, since she is 33 days late for her period and has had nothing but negative results. At this time she should be finding out what is causing the delay in her period, and yes, it is still possible that she's pregnant, despite the negative results.

I did not state based on my experience... I stated based on info I got from my dr. which was pregnancy tests are 99% accurate on the first day of your missed period. I do realize I am an exception...

Your doctor is the only doctor I have ever heard make that statement. My doctor, and my OBGYN have always told me that it's best to wait a least a week after a missed period before testing.

So you see, even doctors are different, and give different advice.

But this conversation is getting us nowhere. The OP's question has been answered, now it's up to her to follow the advice she finds most helpful.

If she has further questions we'll be here to answer.

Yes, urinating a lot is a sign of pregnancy, but it could also be a sign of a bladder infection, or something else.

There's really only one way to diagnose pregnancy, and that's by taking a pregnancy test.

Have you gone to your doctor yet for a blood test?
