Is it okay to get married without your parents knowing
My boyfriend and I want to get married. But cannot do it with our parents knowing Because he's only 20 and I'm 18. So we want to do it at the low key and was wondering if It's haram to do so. Will be considered as We are legitelly married. What are the things we need to be married.

Where do you live? This is an important part of my answer to you.

    I live in Detroit.

IN Detroit you do not need your parents permission to legally marry. The US does not follow Islamic law and their rules on marriage and divorce do not apply in Detroit.

So anyone over 18 can get married without parent permission. And you will be legally married. Your parents and even your religion may not accept the marriage but the US government would and it would be a legal valid marriage

Honestly, being that you are in the US, its difficult to say. In Muslim countries, the religion is legally enforced.

Here however, I have met Muslims who have adjusted to western living, and some of the strict laws, that were never really based on Allah or The Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) teachings or laws, have been made exceptions.

Give me some time to research this, and I hope I can find you an answer. But as far as legally goes, Fr_Chuck is completely correct, legally you and he can marry no matter what anyone says.

Okay. Thanks! And yes I know legally I can. Sadly I'm more westernized then my own kind. I wasn't just sure of my religion that's why I came to ask this question. But thank you for helping me out with this. I appreciate your kindness. :)
