I was awarded a deferred judgement in Florida Small Claims Court against a former tenant for unpaid rent and other expenses. Payments are scheduled to be paid over 6 years, however I suspect she will default and I'll have to proceed with a final judgement prior to all payments being made.
Question: If she were to die before paying off the judgement, does the judgement remain a debt to the estate or does it disolve upon death?
