    Furnace fan never shuts off
I can't get my fan to shut off from the furnace, even though the thermostat is on auto. How do I get the fan only to run when the thermastat is calling for heat/a/c
    Thanks

If the units fan still runs when set to auto then it could be a crossed thermostat wire OR a defective fan relay. Since you have a not posted the brand or model number unit you will have to search around for your wiring diagram that is placed on every unit. Probably on the blower access door. If a later model unit with circuit board the relay might be mounted on the circuit board and you will have to replace the board if the relay tests defective.

Just noticed when I turn the fan to on the fan blows faster than when it is on auto (and is not calling for heat/a/c)
