Yes. Depending on where he is, It's his to do with as he pleases.
But what do you mean "his part of the land"? Does he own it in common with someone else?
He can give it all to the homelss guy that lives under the bridge if he wants... it is after all his, and not yours or your bothers.
Another good reason to treat your parents with respect when they are still alive, because they can give it ALL to someone else that did.
Where do you get the idea he's "robbing" you? Where do you get the idea that you are entitled to an inheritance? I suspect it's that attitude that you think you are entitled to something that is behind his wanting to give his property to the next generation.Quote:

A parent is required to support their child until they reach the age of majority. Their legal responsibility ENDS at that point. Some areas do require that a child not be completely disinherited, but a testator can usually get around that with a token bequest.
So maybe you need to examine why your father might want to bypass you in favor of his grandchildren and maybe you can repair the problem.
The land has been in family for generations and is now divided between dad and his two sisters. But was curious when he passed who it was going to.
As we have said, his interest will go to whomever it is left in a valid will. You aunts' interests will go to whomever they choose to name in their wills.Quote:
