How do I fix my mp4's touch screen when it doesn't work? HELP ME PLEASE!!

Why doesn't my mp4's touch screen work??

That means turn it OFF and ON again, best to pull the battery if possible..

I'm quite certain Sharper Image doesn't make their own digital players. It's likely some cheap chinese knock-off I'm afraid. Did it not come with a manual of any sort that says what model number it is?
