So I'm 14 yrs old, almost 2 months pregnant, and my boyfriend who is also 14 decides "he doesn't like me anymore." I know I'm pretty young, but I have my mom and she's promised to help me take care of my baby and give it anything it needs. Well everything was okay in our relationship until I told him I'm pregnant. He got further and further away. He would still come to my house and told me he loves me and stuff but then he told me he doesn't want to be with me, and I'm so stressed out.

I thought he was going to be by my side, but I guess I was wrong. And I try not to cry nor be sad because I can hurt the baby, but what should I do?

Once the baby is born, make sure a DNA test is done, so he will financially responsible.

Focus on the child, not the boy who helped make it. He is afraid, and once he gets over it, then he may think like a father should, but he is just not ready for that yet. He too is very very young.

He may be acting weird, but no doubt he is crying too! He won't tell anyone that he is though.

I know you don't want a lecture, but this is why children (and you are still a child) shouldn't be playing at being adults. Did you really think that at 14 you met your life's partner?

It is good that your mom will stand by you and help.

As Tal said, its possible your boyfriend will develop a backbone and stand by you. I hope its true. But you need to hold him to his responsibility. As WG said, when the baby is born you file child support. It may be that you will get minimal support since doesn't have a job, or maybe his parents will be required to pay. But eventually he will get a job and help support his child.

In the meantime, you can forget about romance for a awhile. While you are pregnant you are unlikely to find someone to date you. After the baby is born you will be too busy caring for the child to go out with friends or date. Besides, you will never be sure a boy isn't interested in you because you are "easy".

Hopefully, when you get older, you will find someone who is interested in you enough to get past that you have a child.

This is what almost always happen, if not before the baby is born within the first year when the boy finds out, a baby changes his life, your life, and you can't pretend to be adults having sex and not having to be responsible, now it is the baby with you all the time, and evenings are caring for the child, not running around with friends.

Now you have to watch out for new boyfriends who will date just to have sex, since they know now you will have sex.

Hey, I'm 14 to these adults that have commented may have been abit harsh. So your pregnant? It doesn't mean you life is over! Your boyfriend doesn't want to be with you anymore tough he's the father he needs to take care of his child. Your lucky though your mum says she'll help you. She would be much more help then your ex anyway she has experience she can help you pull through. Similar situations have happned to my older brother and sister they both have children and they are both very young (they didn't have the children together people sometimes misunderstand that). My sister is a single mum with a nearly one year old daughter and I have never seen her so happy! My beautiful niece doesn't have a father he was on drugs and spent his life living in a shed nobody knows where he is. My sister is glad and she copes with her family on her side. Your amazing having this child so young! Your brave and you can do whatever you believe you can do.

Who was harsh? We simply told the truth.

While your advice was generally good. I don't agree the OP is amazing. I don't think she has a lot of choices. And I think she is risking both her life and the life of the child by becoming pregnant before her body has developed enough to bear a child.
