Should I disclose a felony conviction from 9 years ago during as interview
I was convicted of a felony in 2003, attempted false imprisonment. I believe California employers do not have access beyond 7 years. Should I disclose the conviction during a job interview?

Unless you want the possibility of being fired for being dishonest on your application in the future when they find out... or being denied a shot at being hired for being dishonest now.

    Hello R:

I don't believe that's true.. You may be thinking of your credit report. All negative items fall off that after 7 years, but your criminal record lasts forever.
