    Bladder infection
I have pain in lower abdomen prior to urinating. The pain is not prevalent each time throughout the day but definitely happens a couple time throughout the day.
No burning when urinating. I have had several urine tests, cultures and an ultrasound.

1st Urine sample stated alterd flora
    2nd Urine sample heavy growth
    Vaginal Ultrasound... normal

I have taken Metronidazole 500 mg 1st time for 7 days
Second time Metronidazole 500 mg 7 days
    3rd time Metronidazole 500 mg 14 days

My symptoms are a tiny bit better.

I've been suffering from bladder infections for 2 years now and are currently seeing a specialist about why it is recurring.

If you want fast relief of the "burning" pain then try emptying your bladder as much as you can and avoid drinking water. Instead of water or cranberry juice or any other powder mixed drinks, make yourself a cup of tea with sugar but NO milk. I did this one night recommended by my friends Mum and it took away the pain almost straight away.

The reason your anti biotics arnt working is because its targeting the wrong bug that's in your urine. If these bladder infections are recurring then tell your doctor to book you an appointment with a specialist.
    Hope this helps x
