    Septate hymen surgery recovery
I had my septate hymen removed a little over two weeks ago, which was a thin band of tissue separating the vaginal opening. The doctor just snipped it on both ends and used some medicine to keep it from bleeding. It is still very sore to the touch, quite painful to touch or sit wrong on (like it hurts to wipe), but it doesn't bleed, but ever since then Ive had brownish yellow discharge (sorry!) Has anyone else had this procedure? Did this happen to you? Is there anything I can do? Will the pain go away? Thanks!

I had the surgery less than a week ago. Mine was tender for a couple days, a little bit of bleeding but not bad. I took Tylenol for the pain. It's not swollen or tender at all anymore, and it's not uncomfortable to wipe or touch. Hope this helps!

To add to this, going back to your doctor for a check up is a good idea. You could have an infection.
