I had sex the day before my predicted ovulation, everything seemed good, I'm fairly sensitive and pay attention to detail when it comes to this since I'm trying to get pregnant. My cervical mucus was the right consistency and I even had that strange cramping in my left side. I thought all was well so I went at it with my husband.
The day of my predicted ovulation however a random dry spell occurred which was strange considering it was rare for me to be so dry.
I did have sex that day but it took a while for me to get wet.
My question is could it have been ovulation the day before and could I be pregnant? And any idea as to why the dry spell occurred why the sudden dry spell?
If it helps my average cycle is 39 days.

There's really no way for us to answer this question.

Is there a chance that you're pregnant? Of course there is. Are you? Don't know, and can't tell you. You'll have to wait until you miss your period, and then try a pregnancy test.

As for the dryness. It could be stress, nerves, illness, lack of excitement, or any number of other things. There are literally 100's of options to choose from.
