    Period is ten days late
I took my last because pill on April 15th because my prescription ran out because I didn't go in for my annual checkup. (I didn't realize I could call the dr and have them refill it until I went in for my pap a couple weeks ago). Anyway, I got my period on April 17th, as I normally would. To my surprise, I got my next period pretty much right on schedule the next month--May 17th. It was a fairly regular period, with the exception of much more severe cramping the 1st 2 days. I was expecting to get my period again around June 14th, but wasn't too surprised when it was a couple days late again. On June 16th, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and it is now June 24th and I don't have my period yet. The last 2 days, my nipples have been sore and they are erect today. I am not sure if my period is just late now that I've been off the pill for 2 months, if I'm pregnant, or maybe I just ovulated. I usually don't know when I've ovulated because I don't have symptoms. Please tell me which of the 3 you think it could be.
Also, when should I take a pregnancy test?
If I am not pregnant, should I wait to get my period before going back on the pill? I kind of want to, just so I know that everything is okay with body and that it's getting back on track. Please advise. Thank you!

Yes it could be any of those three, or some other issue causing it to be late.

I would wait another week for a pregnancy test

You need to talk to your doctor, but yes normally it is when you start your period to start the pills.
