I'm so sorry - what did the Vet say is wrong?

Didn't you get any feeding directions? I've done boiled chicken and rice, boiled ground beef and rice, toddler foods - anything that would tempt the dog when my dogs have been sick.

Ditto to Judy's post... I try everything when mine are feeling under the weather. The plainer the food the better for their stomach, especially after not having eaten for so long, but you still have to find something they like.

Boiled chicken is usually a favourite around my house.

You can also buy appetite stimulants from your vet. There are several types, some tablet form, some liquid or the one I use is a black paste that you rub on their gums.

Both JudyKayTee an Shazamataz answers are excellent, I would also suggest giving the dog peppermint tea or slippery elm ( Herb in liquid form) to sooth the stomach first then after an hour try warming the food to increase the sense of smell to your baby. Aloe Vera is also a great daily additive to your dogs diet, it has so many positive attributes besides being soothing to the stomach. I would read up on it also. I do not claim to be a expert, just have a lot of personal experience with animals. God Bless
