Its my first time to get arrested.I get arrested for domestic violence, batterry using deadly weapon (scissors) .it's a boyfriend and girlfriends fight, because I caught him cheating on me.we had a court 2009 but he didn't show up.and the judge dismissed the case.. now can he still reopen the case?.

I hate to think what you were trying to do with the scissors. :)

Criminal charges were brought against you and the judge dismissed it because he failed to show up? No. He can't re-open the case. That would be up to the prosecuting authorities and would be unlikely.

This is criminal matter so I moved it from Small Claims. As noted, only the prosecutor can reopen the case. And its probable the Statue of Limitations has passed.

thank you and I appreciate your time Scott, yes It does help me a lot, now I can sleep well for that... whats bothering me now is the woman before that he was. With, she stalks me infacebook saying bad stuff, she evenput my real name to his wall. That people need to be careful of me because I'm a dangerous psychotic woman.. I have a kid to protect.. I need her to stop, this woman is married into an American which is in A service and she's cheating on him to my ex.shes threatening me to reopen the case, men I'm busy andfocus raising my kid, because I'm a single mom, I don't need her BS.she. Needs to stop... thank youagain Scott...

You can ask FB to remove any reference to you on someone else's wall. And block the woman.

Hi AK LAWYER... thank you so much for your response. I do and I appreciate it a lot.me too I hated so much.. but everything happened so fast, I just used the scissor for myself defense. He is OK just a scratched into his ears.. thank you again. What's bothering me now is the. Woman he was with at the time, she spying on me, stalking me and threatening me to reopen the case. She's not even the one who file charges.. I want her to stop, because I'm busy focusing and raising my kid. Because I'm asingle mom.. thank you again Ak Lawyer..

Thank you Scott.. is it OK though if I mention her name here? So that just in case somebody will. Read what she's putting to her wall. And the thing is she used different and some ones character. But I know that's her. She's the only one who doesn't like me...
