I have used demi perm color is dark blond. I like the color until it fades;it leaves my hair with a weird reddish purple tint. I don't like the funky reddish tint I get. I did buy a color additive that said it would eliminate the reds but I don't think it meant reddish purples because there was no difference. I then tried using light brown and now my hair is black. I don't like this either but I suppose it will fade with washings. What should I be using to cover grays and still staying natural looking?
