My property management company has been incompetent from not getting the second part of the lease signed to not fixing anything in the apartment accordingly. I have been w/o transportation since I moved in and my rent has been payed via money order from TX which takes like 3-4 days weather permitting...I have been having problems with them as far as the lease signing, rent payment, and maintenance. Recently my rent was late due to bad weather in TX they knew it was going to be late and posted a $105 late fee. I was told that they werent going to process my $650 rent payment till the $105 was paid. My balance is now at $563. Is it possible for them to do such despite the fact that they havent answered nor returned any of my calls but can surely call to add up ridiculous fees. Can they do that cause I really think theyre tryna get over on me knowing im young n by myself in this town plus taking advantage of the fact that the payment MAY b late. Someone help me quick, I need answers.
