My daughter is 18 and taking drugs sneaking out early hours of the morning and not respecting my wishes my youngest is frightened of her and recently she has turned to violence against me leading to her being arrested and having an adult caution I didn't want to go that far but since then I'm writing this with ablack eye iwant her to have a good life has she is an intelligent girl but I feel I really need some advice thanks

What would I do? I'd demonstrate some tough love.

I'd call the Police on her for assault, get a restraining order - and she'd be living somewhere else.

My youngest called the police and I chose to have her arrested hence the adult caution that was 2 days ago

Hit her back. She is an adult. It is not child abuse, and it is not against the law to defend yourself from another adult assaulting you.

You don't allow her back in the house, not sure the term caution, but if she was arrested, who went and got her out of jail, and paid her bail ?

You get a restraining order or order of protection and tell her good life and come back when you are clean.

You can still try to help but you have got to do it different. Next time you put her in jail for 6 hrs. After 6 hrs she will calm down then go get her and force her to rehab for 60 days.

And mom how did you raise her? Are you living a stable life? Me and my mom use to fight all the time. I promise I was right all the time. My mom ate pain pills like candy
