    Can I still get pregnant?
 we're trying for a baby, every time we have sex he ejaculates, but when he pulls out his seaman comes out a few minutes later, will this stop me getting pregnant or reduce our chances of conceiving? Please help:confused:

    Squiffy
Some almost always comes out, just remember it only takes one little swimmer to conceive a baby.

I doubt that all of it comes out the minute he pulls out, even though it may seem like a lot does come out. However, here are a few suggestions. When having sex and for a while after(lay in bed for 20 mintutes like this) , put a small pillow under your butt to keep your hips slightly elevated. This will help it stay in longer enough and help keep it in long enough to help the little guys do their work. (also don't douche or anything like that right after, as this will wash them away.) good luck!

Put a pillow under your butt and lay there for like 10 minutes...

The semen is there to protect the sperm while in the vagina. The sperm will then travel up into the cervix, the uterus, then into the fallopian tube. The semen stays in the vagina and some will come out. This doesn't mean that the sperm haven't went into the uterus. So don't worry if the semen comes out. More than likely the sperm have/are traveling to where they are supposed to be. Like the other posters here said, try to stay lying down for 20-30 min after intercourse, and elevate your hips if possible. Good luck! Hope this helps

It is not the sperm that is coming out it is the fluid that the sperm is transported in that comes out. When a guy ejaculates, the sperm immediately swim up to the cervix to find and egg to fertilize, they can live inside the woman for as long as 7 days if conditions are right. The fluid then runs out of the woman along with any lazy , weak or dead sperm.

Ok, this one is just too easy... :) If you are referring to "semen", than technically no, you can't get pregnant from semen on its own... it is the liquid which carries the sperm to the cervix and fallopian tubes.

Semen contains sperm, and sperm is what gets you pregnant. So unless the man has absolutely no sperm count AT ALL, then the answer to your question is yes(though technically as mentioned above, it's the SPERM that actually get you pregnant.)
