Ok.. I have been in a year relationship with my boyfriend and I recently pressed charges in him because he kicked my door in. We got into a bad argument and I told him to leave and he wouldn't. So I finally I had tricked him into walking outside and I locked him outside. He got angry, and kicked the door in. I want to know if I have done the right thing. I love him but I had to do what I thought was best. The only reason why I pressed charges was because he would have to pay for the door if I didn't. He would never pay for his damages. BTW I live in a apartment and when I leave, I will have to pay for all damages.
