I had turned on my a/c in my dodge ram 2001 pick up and then it started blowing hot air... it is a brand new unit and I checked the fuses and so I put new fuses in and they just blow out without the pump even turning on! And I can turn the clutch part of it with my hank so I'm not sure what is going on and what is wrong! Can you help me?

Thoughts:

Look for a short. It could be, for example, in the wiring going to the magnetic clutch, compressor clutch relay, or with the clutch itself.
