My 12 month lease is up, legally am I allowed to go month to month?
I live in ontario, my landlord is pressuring me into a 12 year lease that I can not commit to. I have lived here for 12 months already and if I do not sign another lease I am wondering if my landlord can kick me out because of it, and if he can how long do I have before I have to move out? Please help, and thanks so much.

Most rental leases require either party to give notice. Did you or he notify the other party, in advance, that the lease was up and a move out would take place?

Have you read your lease? What does it say about renewals, termination etc. Once the lease expires, the landlord can require that you vacate or allow you to remain on a month to month basis. Where EITHER of you can terminate the tenancy with one month's notice.
