Will I pass my EtG test
I drank two miller lites while eating some wings. It was very hot so I also had 3 glasses of water with my dinner/drinks. I was given an ETG 12 hours later. Will I pass. I am 5'10" and weigh 285lbs. I also drank 3 pints of water about an hour before the test.

Not likely in that short a time.

I can't see how you can pass at 12 hours and 2 beers (even low alcohol).

The water consumption within one hour of test is an interesting twist. That should create a dilute sample that would be rejected. If it did not it is possible that you could pass, but even then if the creatinine is considered in relation to EtG that would still result in a fail.

The basis is that you will definitely have EtG in your system at that time span. Now it is just a matter of detection. That may be influenced by dilution but that seems unlikely outcome.

Thanks for getting back to me. Does my weight or the water that I drank with dinner/drinks have any effect. I didn't even feel the slightest bit of a buzz from the beers, it was too hot.

They look for things like dilution as an indication someone is trying to game the system.

Both factors are relevant to metabolism of the alcohol but not EtG. If the time span were greater it would be a different story. However, EtG peaks about 3-5 hours after alcohol and even trace amounts of alcohol will create EtG.

As I indicated above, you had EtG in your system at that time span. Whether the water diluted it below detection is a different matter, and of course if the dilution was sufficient to reject the test.

Please let us know the results of this.
