Through the court... its going to be very expensive... you are going to have to hire a lawyer (no freebies here).. and your chances of winning are very slim because you are going to have to prove her parents or custodians are not cabible of doing the job and are a threat to your cousins safety. And that you would be better and have the financial means to provide support.

Pretty much what Smoothy said - what are the cousin's circumstances? Is she in foster care, something else?

Are you employed, able to support her emotionally and financially, living in your own apartment (not with friends and family)?
