Hold over tenants want repairs done
I bought a house at auction which the origanal homeowners would not leave. Took them to court to evict them and won. They file an appeal to the housing court. The judge ordered them to pay me $1,000.00 a month until the housing court has a finding. They have been paying rent every month until recently when they asked me to make repairs to the house. The house has been distroyed by them over the years. I refused to do any repairs as I am going to tear the house down when they move out. They went to the local board of health and reported me, for not bringing the house up to code. I have been served by the board of health and I am wondering what I can do? I do not won't to waste money fixing anything, as I am going to tear the house down. Massachusetts Home

I am not going to court until next Friday, for the first time. I am sure it will be a while.

I'm confused, you said, you won an eviction and they won an appeal during which time they were to pay you $1000/mth "until the housing court has a finding". So when will that finding be?

I would go back to the court that issued that ruling and ask how long it takes. I'm assuming the house was sold at a foreclosure auction or tax sale. So what grounds did they have for appeal?
