I am recovering from a laproscopic appendectomy - performed Saturday a.m. June 9th. Ran a low-grade fever but didn't experience any oozing or bleeding after the surgery. The steri-strips have come off and there is pinkness and some swelling around the incisions. Is this cause for concern?

Pinkness and swelling around the incisions is natural trauma to the skin and underlying tissue. Just keep a close eye on it, bleeding is good, that is cleansing, but if you see any yellow coloured discharge, report to your doctor, but then I trust you have a follow up for this surgery?
