My ex and I were together for six years, we have two sons under age two. We have been broken up for seven months. We decided to try and work on being a couple again. We are currently taking baby steps so we don't just rush back in to just to have it fail again.
He said I should take my time and don't expect so much and let's just start with being friends again and rebuilding some trust. I don't get what he meant by that is he saying build a friend first before we get back together.
I told him I hope he is serious and not just playing and he said he wasn't he told me just to trust him but its hard.
