In Oregon, new to the area. We have been renting for only a couple of months from a leaseholder as roommates. He does not own the property. We have no written agreement with him. We have paid all rent and bills on time. He gave us a written 30-day no-cause notice mid month to vacate. Do we have to pay for the partial following month or can we just leave before the first and be done with it (and him)? Are we obligated to give him any more money?
