My son passed away in foster care
My baby boy was 8 months healthy as can be I was told he passed away from SIDS and I later found out he hit his head near his temple and there was lots of blood and he had a bad cut but the foster parents didn't take him to hospital and I feel he may had a concussion... nothing will ever bring him back and I know this but I want justice and peace for my little angel how should I go about this??

    Sad mommy...

    Hello Sad Mommy:

Hire a lawyer. You can't do anything on your own.

A lawsuit doesn't bring anybody justice and peace. I'm in the legal business.

If you want to sue for loss and/or damages get evidence, consult with an Attorney. One of the questions will be why the child was in foster care. Proof (not what you have heard) is what is going to matter.

This isn't like you left your child with a babysitter and he was injured or died.

I am sorry for your loss. If you want justice go to the Police and also keep those foster parents from fostering any other kids.

If all you want is justice, go to the local district attorney or prosecutor and demand an investigation. Talk to the medical examiner that did the autopsy
