    Could I be pregnant?
OK, so this is the first month of my birth control and Saturday night my boyfriend and I had sex, and the condom broke. Sunday I was due to get my period but now just got it, well kind of. Im spotting really. I know being tired comes from period but I haven't had any cramps really, my lower back hurts, headache and my belly is itching. Could I be pregnant or is this just my period?

It's really too early for pregnancy symptoms.

Starting oral contraceptives can throw your period off.

Have you researched and read about the particular product you use?

Yes, I have and it really only said to be worried about bleeding between periods, and nothing really about when you should have them. I was pregnant once before but lost the child, and I knew so early once I was at that time, but I'm just spotting right now and that didn't happen last time, and even when I was on Birth Control once before my period came and was normal..

Most likely not, but it is slightly possible, you really have to wait till next month and see if that period is missed completely. Many times if it happens right at a period time, you can still have that one. But it is rare.

But what if I am.. wouldn't the birth control make me have a miscarriage or cause my child to be impaired?

Well I have had a migraine for three days and now having to urinate frequently.. should I take a test now or could I assume it may be from stress?
