    Norgalax enema for toddler
My 3.5 yo suffers from constipation and holds her bm, she was prescribed norgalax enema. I gave this to her at 7.30pm and it didn't work. Now I am very concerned its sitting there is her system. I also read that it is not recommended for children under 12! It's now 10.30 and she is in bed asleep. Do I need to be concerned, should I take her to emergency cntr or just take her to docs in morning?

Was there any result, or is there liquid still inside her? If she is sleeping peacefully, I'd leave her alone. You may have a mess to clean up by morning.

No result, she was very determined not to poop. Liquid still inside that's why I'm concerned. She is sleeping.

Her sphincter muscle will relax as she sleeps. Have you tried prune juice or more fiber? It may hurt to poop so she holds back.

Yes, you name it I've tried it. Will take her to docs in morning. Thanks for your response.

Just be careful you aren't making such an issue over it that she holds back just to get mommy's goat.
