    Temp control?
I live in 2 level SFH. The thermostat is upstairs in hall. Does having a window open downstairs in the basement in a closed room with basement door closed also effect the temp up stairs? I.E. Will it make ac work harder. No thermostat downstairs no zone heating and cooling only one thermostat.

The window is open only temp in 70's. The window is medium sliding opening about 20x12. Is not in direct sunlight.
