    Frozen bank account in Texas
I was notified by the bank Friday at 5pm that my joint account was frozen from a credit card debt. My husband was never on this account and yet they also froze my son's account because my husband is listed on his account is that legal? Also I tried to resolve this account in 2006 because it was not listed with my correct name, I wanted the account closed and to make monthly payments with no interest or late fees because I lost income but they refused. I am unemlpoyed, can they still garnish my husband's and freeze his account and my son's.

If this is your debt they can attach any assets that you are listed as a joint owner. If you aren't on your son's account then they can freeze that also. But if its your husband's debt, then they can attach accounts he is listed on.
