Hi I went to a hairdresser as I wanted to go from blonde highlights to an all over blonde. She put an ash blonde on and the result was that I have orange roots! She tried twice to lift it further and also tried more highlights, again with the same results! She said that she didn't realise how red my natural colour was (as this hasn't been my hair colour for years). She said that there's nothing in my hair that will ruin it... but I'm still left with slight orange roots! Gutted as she told me how fab it would look and now it just looks a mess. Is there anything I can do? I'm reluctant to go back as I don't want it to make the problem worse than it is. If I put loads of conditioner in it will it be less orange/brassy??
