I am trying to connect a 3 prong to my air conditioner it has white , black and green , on the cord I bought and the air conditioner has red white and black how do I connect these somebody please help thank you

Need to know air conditioner voltage and what kind or receptacle you are trying to plug it into.

Also need to know the size or gauge of the cord and plug you bought...
