I'm on Seasonale birth control (I only have my period every three months) and never had a problem with it. I'm married but not trying to get pregnant. The last time I had my period was the end of April, so I'm not due for my next one until the end of July. I have been having a dark brown discharge the last 9 days. It is light, I've just been wearing a pantyliner. There has been no red or pink blood. I have also been having mild cramping, which is not normal for me. I have also lost my appetite. My blood pressure has been lower than usual, as well. I took a home pregnancy test today and it was negative. I'm not sure what is going on. Could I be pregnant or having an early miscarriage?

There's really no way for us to tell you what's going on. Brown discharge indicates old blood. But is it your period, a miscarriage, or something else? No way for us to know.
