Ok is it a 30 dollar item or a 4000 dollar item. Makes a large difference,

They charged both crime, the theft and the possession ? That in itself is somewhat unusual, unless they are not sure they can prove the theft charge and will be willing to plea deal this out

But yes fine and probation.
