Hi I broke my left collar bone About 3 weeks ago and had a metal plate put in on may 30 I was walking in the dark a few minutes ago and tripped over my cat when I fell I instinctively out stretched my left arm and all my weight went on my collarbone shoulder area and I'm now in severe pain that is only alleviated with my sling and a pillow under my arm the plate also feels like it's up higher than what it was could I have bent the plate or rebroken the bone? And if not what could it be? What should I do for it and to take the pain away

What you do is go to the ER to have an X-ray or CT scan done to see if there is any damage.
