I've known this girl for about almost 3 years. I have recently started seriously talking to her. She has a boyfriend, but one night we were on the phone from midnight to 7a.m and she told me that she really likes me and I told her I really liked her... but she has a boyfriend that she had for a year and a couple months. I can never understand the logic behind seriously talking and getting attached to a person who has a partner. This makes you an emotional tampon, and crutch to when they need a friend. You always back away from people that are in relationships, and explore better options, and opportunities for romance.

You are in the friend zone, and ain't no romance happening. Your hope for more is false, unrealistic, and foolish, if that's what you hope for.
