    Antibiotic resistance
I was giving some antibiotics for a middle ear infection on the bottle it told me to.take it once a day then I really supposed to been taking it 4 times a day , I wasn't told I was taking it wrong till 10days of treatment then I start taking them right the 11th day I stop taking them because I didn't think it would work anyway since they had me taking them fight in the first place I had 40pills and I end up with 9 left, Am I at risk for superbug ? If I did had a middle ear infection and it didn't work. or if I was taking them went I didn't need to what will happen I'm scaried ?

I'm a bit confused by your question. It's not written very well. So, I'm going to ask a few questions, and see if I read your post correctly.

From your post, what I understood of it, you were prescribed antibiotics for a middle ear infection. The dose was wrong on the package you received. You took one pill a day, but were supposed to take 4 pills a day. You didn't know this until 10 days after starting the antibiotics. On the 11th day you started taking the correct dosage, then, before you were finished with the entire prescription, you decided, against a doctors advice, to stop taking the medication.

You should never stop taking any medication recommended by a doctor, unless the doctor recommends that you stop.

No, you're not at risk for "superbug", but you are at risk for a recurring middle ear infection because you didn't finish taking your prescription.

My best advice to you would be to see your doctor, tell him/her what you did, and see what he/she recommends.
